Going independent…
If you don’t read Scott Berkun’s blog, you should. Earlier this month he wrote a piece “Lessons from four independent years” about his experience as an independent speaker and writer. I have a few ideas percolating that eventually might convince me to try striking out on my own - it was enlightening to read Berkun’s reflection on his doing so, especially since I’ve really enjoyed his blog and The Myths of Innovation
Now that I’m a manager, I’ll have to check out the update to his bible on project management, Making Things Happen: Mastering Project Management
