Slacking
I’m a little behind on things. In lieu of an actual post or update, which I’ve been meaning to do, I’ll substitute an answer to my high school teacher’s weekly Saturday Night Survey (which I described earlier).
Question:
In the last nine months what is the most important thing you have learned?
My Answer:
I’ve learned that I enjoy writing. I’ve learned that, while I really
like my job, I still enjoy fun trips, hanging with friends and
spending time with Meagan quite a bit more. I’ve learned that
heli-boarding is a blast but expensive. But worth it. I’ve learned
that planning a wedding is time-consuming and that I shouldn’t let it
get to me - it’s not the important part. I’ve learned that our
election process can be really confusing and drawn out, and while I
still don’t know who I’ll for in November, I have hope that this
country will remain a great place in which to live. And, finally, I
continue to learn that time is valuable and that I am lucky to be
surrounded by great family and friends.
