Tanzania

After a few weeks of debate, discussion, Lonely Planet East Africa reading, internet research, calls to a travel agent in London, and financial soul-searching, we pulled the trigger and booked the Tanzania honeymoon. I finally locked down flights over the weekend and confirmed the safari details yesterday. Woohoo! Rob at Africa Travel Resource has been really helpful and awesome dealing with my constant indecision - I highly recommend them.

We’ll be checking out Moshi for a few days with a friend who has graciously offered to show us around - check out his volunteer work at Mzungu Days. We then head to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti for about six days of safari before flying to Zanzibar for a bit more than a week of chilling on the beach.

I’m excited. I am almost as thrilled not to be spending so much time on Kayak (really awesome website though) and pouring through trip itineraries.
