Last weekend, when visiting Meagan in Port Angeles, we took the ferry up to Victoria. It was a beautiful day, the weekend before Canada Day, and there was a Tall Ships Festival going on. Here are some pictures from the day.

Dinner last week: Ball Park Frank with caramelized onion, ketchup, and Dijon mustard served with an organic mixed greens, strawberry, and lavender goat cheese salad, accompanied by a Cabernet Franc rosé. Comfort food, summer styled, with a twist.
