A Beautiful Day
Our awesome wedding photographers, Daria and Andy, were in DC for the inauguration and put together a wicked cool slideshow of their experience. So cool, very jealous!
Meagan and I watched the inauguration at home, taking advantage of the Pacific Time zone, slightly lax working hours in the tech industry, and an afternoon-centric medical school schedule. I prepared ahead and bought raspberries and blueberries the night before so I could make some red, white, and blue pancakes as we watched our new president be sworn in. I was a little teary throughout the event – it really felt like a unique turning point for our nation, for so many reasons.
