Today was the last day on the hill in Jackson. In the morning, we did some warmup runs on AV chair, but it was pretty crappy. Freezing level was relatively high, so the lower parts didn’t get much snow and were pretty hard and icy.

Jackson got 2-14″ overnight last night, depending on the elevation and slope, which ordinarily would be fabulous news. There were two caveats:
it was pretty thick, wet snow

Ugly - tandem snowboarding. I used to share a house in Whistler with one of the guys in the video - that he invented this doesn’t surprise me at all.
Looks like snow is in the forecast this weekend…dry spell may be ending.
